Looking Through Heaven’s Eyes

I love the story of redemption. The ability to be able to start again, rebuild and succeed appeals to me immensely.

And that’s what heaven did through Jesus’s crucifixion on the cross. No matter how bad we’ve erred the fact that there is redemption means heaven is looking at our frailty through the eyes of grace.

I am a product of heaven’s grace through the redemptive power of Jesus, and I am proud of that.

I leave you with this song from the Prince of Egypt ‘Through Heaven’s Eyes,’ it blesses my soul. Have a fabulous week ahead, friends!

Much love, always!

Destiny Or Coincidence?

So many people have said or written a lot on destiny, it’s an inexhaustible topic. I’m not going to perambulate or go around in circles, I believe we make our own destinies by the choices we made. Coincidence on the other hand is mere luck, it’s something trivial in my book. From time immemorial, I knew I wanted to be a writer but that’s not where it ended. Of late, I’ve been involved in some projects that I never believed in my wildest imagination that I was going to do but it happened nonetheless, which keeps me wondering about destiny, fate, and coincidence.

But today, I’m glad I have awesome friends like you, which brings me to this C.S Lewis quote that I saw recently,

”In your life you meet people.

Some you never think about again.

Some, you wonder what happened to them.

There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you.

And then there are some that you wish you never have to think about again.

But you do.”

Those words aptly encapsulates the people we’ve come across in life. At present, I often wonder about friends I met on this blogosphere who simply disappeared off the radar, some have stopped blogging, some can’t be bothered anymore and some are even better than friends I had known for years. And I don’t think our friendship is coincidental! I know some of you reading this might have wondered about the same thing but I truly believe that friendships makes life bearable! And saying that, I have a writer friend, Tracy Shawn and I would love to promote her upcoming book, ‘The Grace Of Crows” shown here;

Photo: Sneak peek of the cover for our October release of Tracy Shawn's novel THE GRACE OF CROWS.

The novel would be released by Cherokee McGhee Publishing in October, please check It out, and I’ll always tuck in a reminder in my posts before and after the release. Thanks guys! 🙂

On that note, I’ll say, I’m happy you’re my friends and I wish you all a lovely and peaceful week!

Much love, always!

Illusion…

Winter Trees at Sunset

We  rushed through our days,
We dashed through our nights,

We ploughed and worked through our years,

We toiled and built and heaped on wealth,

We didn’t wait to think;

What is the purpose of it all?

Is everything a mere illusion?

Is there purpose to this life?

Or do we just live like a leaf in the wind?

With no care in the world.

After all, a leaf has no illusion

Of the fate that awaits it.

But if we do wait and pause,

And behold the glory that surrounds us,

At the smile of a new-born,

Or the toothless grin of an old man,

Or the splendour of the morning,

We’ll surely know for a certainty…

That life is not an illusion.

There is a purpose to it all…

Much love dear friends. 🙂

No Secret Ingredient

I watched this interesting film on Saturday, ‘Kunfu Panda.’ (It’s a great film, the story line is simply awesome!)

What really struck me about the film was when Po‘s dad told him something which really caught my attention. This duck dude, who was famed for his special noodles said,

‘There is no Secret Ingredient!!!…To make something special you just have to believe it’s special.’

Everyone thought Po’s dad had a secret ingredient which made his noodles tastier and different. But he simply believed in himself and his ability to make a great noddle.

You just have to believe in YOURSELF, your marriage, your friends, your job… Yeah, your job!

Self belief and self-confidence is not being cocky, or damn too sure of yourself. It is having the belief that you can scale greater heights… and succeed.

If you feel you’re worthless, believe me – you are, and why is that? You’ll start behaving in a worthless way, doing things that makes you agree with your thought processes! But the good  news is – because you FEEL something doesn’t make it right! You can actually change your thinking!  You can rise above your self doubts and lack of confidence.

And I think it’s really simple.

Every morning when you wake up, look in the mirror and say,

‘I can do anything I want to do today!’ (Positive things!)

And believe me, you can, when you believe!

Have a great day everyone!!

Much love, always.

Circle Of Life

Talkin' About Life and Death

Talkin’ About Life and Death (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

A very good friend of mine lost her younger brother yesterday to the cold hands of death at the age of 35, which brought the poignant topic of death shrilly to my subconscious mind this evening.

Yes, we don’t like talking about IT but it’s all around us. I mean, we are born, we grow old with all our aspirations and we wither and die. Simple as!

But there is a catch. Death is not an end in itself, it’s a beginning, I believe firmly in life after death because I am a Christian but what about people who don’t? What is their hope?

My motto in life is ‘live life to the full and spread the love, don’t pile up hatred, you’ll be the one to stink and believe in yourself. Once there’s a will, there will be a WAY!’

My mind is still reeling from the news and my heart bleeds for my friend but the die is cast and the deed is done. The grim ripper’s done his worst, he can’t do more than that!

Borrowing the words of Mofasa in Lion King, ‘It’s just the circle of life’

Adieu Ambrose!
