Just Imagine…

Imagine if Hitler had not died and world war II was lost?

What would be our Hope? Probably the whole of Africa would be a sugar cane plantation by now…

Imagine if Nuclear Bomb was never made, we might not have won world war 2 because Japanese people would definitely fight to the death, but there won’t be a cold war either and threats of more wars from so called superpowers, just imagine…

Imagine if all the souls lost in the fields of battle had not gone, Imagine if fear gripped their hearts? What exactly would be our fate?

Thank God they fought and won. God bless those wonderful souls…

******

Now… Just Imagine you got all your wishes… All your prayers, what if they came to past?

Imagine what would happen if you won the lottery…

Close your eyes now… Imagine you are GOD!

What would you do?

Let me know!!

  1. God would either burn it or give it to children going hungry

  2. I don’t know what I’d do if I were God. I’m just glad that none of us are. But I do know that his Son payed the ultimate and final sacrifice for our souls.
(John 3:16 is worth a Google visit.) And I do know that I like your post and am so grateful for the sacrifice that soldiers have made for freedom, here on earth.

It should be easy but I’m having difficulty deciding what to do and I don’t know why. Thus, I’ll just share what I’d do if I won the lottery because for me that’s an imagination that’s closer to reality.

I’d be a philanthropist, and support substantial causes, the kinds that would make a worldwide impact. I’ll support causes that feed the world yet teach individuals to be responsible so as not to add up to world hunger. I’ll support causes that would remove labels among nations like being a 1st or 3rd-world country. I’ll support causes that would make everyone equal perhaps through a world government but very far from what Hitler wanted. I’ll support scientific discoveries that would help prolong the life of planet earth and maintain it’s natural beauty.

Ultimately, I’ll support causes that may somehow make the song of John Lennon, entitled “Imagine” be a reality. But then again, I’m just a dreamer. I hope I’m not the only one.

My God! June!! That is so noble, winning the lottery usually changes people’s lives and by giving some away, that is just fantastic. You have such a good heart, I hope all your dreams comes true. Thanks for your wise comment. Cheers!

      • June says:

Seyi, thanks for the opportunity to share the imagination that I don’t share in person for the fear of other people freaking out on me. 🙂

But I try to make sense by giving comments that would still carry the thoughts surrounding your post. On this one though, I know I don’t have to be really wealthy to practice philanthropy but acquiring instant wealth like from lottery will let me do it in a sizable scale. If I win the lottery, it will help me accumulate more wealth not just for my needs but also for the better purpose of making a bigger difference through big time philanthropic works. I grew up bringing with me the value of contentment but philanthropy would be the sole reason why I would wish for magnanimous wealth. That’s my idea of realistic, as opposed to wishing to be God. (sorry if I seem to be babbling more than I should)

Although, some of my comments might have digressed from the crux of your messages, I still appreciate your recognition. Sometimes, I just can’t help sharing my thoughts with thought -provoking posts….and I’m just beginning to get the hang of it. But again, thank you!

      • Seyi sandra says:

Thanks June, you were not babbling neither were you digressing and if anyone is freaked by your ideals, they are the freaks! You are a thoughtful, kind man and I am proud to have known you, thanks for your comments, I always look forward to it. Cheers and lots of blessings:)

  4. I like all these Ideas. Sounds great. But God I believe in my heart unrealistic to this worlds approach would burn it = ) lol. If i faced a won lottery I would get what I need and then I would give back most of it. If you wan’t a realistic answer. Thats as close to one as I can give ya’ll

  5. Seyi sandra says:

That’s honest and you’re right! Thanks for stopping by, really appreciate it!!

    Feed hungry children…take a long vacay…travel more…help more…

  7. The question is good for me – as I do not favour the Christian god, who I find very jealous and destructive, so it is easier for me to play god – and the results are the same as with religious people – I want the same – more shade for those who have not – more trees to provide shelter, food, harmony, balance.

    • Seyi sandra says:

Thanks for your intriguing comment and I appreciate it. I am happy you’ll want good things for your people if you are God, shelter, harmony, food, and balance. I am a christian and I know God to be Kind, loving and merciful, and those are my views. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Cheers!

  8. I wish hitler would have never died, now we got more deads then ever before and I wish Japan masacare of Hiroshima and Nagasaki would have never happened…… The world would have been a lot better..

    • Seyi sandra says:

Thanks for your comment. But don’t you think if Hitler had lived more people would have died? And I wish Hiroshima and Nagasaki never happened but Hitler caused it in the first place. Thanks for stopping by my post. Cheers!

If I turned God, I’d use my powers to stop rape and abuse in any shape of form. Might take me years despite my super powers, I think.

  11. Jeff says:

If I got all my wishes and prayers, I might be in trouble! God, in his wisdom, knows what NOT to grant me, that’s for sure. 🙂 However, if I won the lottery, there would be much that we would contribute to. Of course, I would enjoy some of it. But we have actually dreamed about it, in the past. We would give much to our local church, for one thing, so we could get our own building, and for another thing, to help the needy in the local community. The largest part of the contributions would be to organizations/people that do much to help the homeless, the fatherless, and the widows.

    • Seyi sandra says:

I so much love your answers Jeff, doing that would certainly help a lot of folks and make life more comfortable for you as well. Thanks for your comment and for stopping by. Cheers!

If I were God I’d use my super powers to force the world to have World Peace so that we could all help each other improve our lives. I know Jesus would disagree about forcing my will on the world, but he too would have to comply because God — The Father says it’s so!

    • Seyi sandra says:

Wow! That was really good and noble of you. I know peace is all we need most in the world right now, I bet God must be grinning now! Thanks for your comment Sandra. Cheers!

  13. sandrabranum says:

God can grin all he wishes, but I wish he’d do as I say for a change (I most humbly plea, really Sir).

  14. Seyi sandra says:

I am smiling broadly now Sandra and He is too, He said to tell you He would do as you say… If you promise to forgive someone… and you know who, need I say more?
Well, He promised to do as you say. Please give me a smile:)

  15. Manu Kurup says:

If I’m God, there wouldn’t be Hitler 🙂
But then, that’s a nice thought to begin with… ain’t it?

  16. Seyi sandra says:

Yep! I love what you’ll do if you were God, but don’t forget that He gave us free- will else we’ll just be robots. Any one can change, either for good or for bad!

If I was god we would all be engrossed in living out the life of American Indians, their culture would have won out and I would be brave and the open sky would beakon me to cross the land like a cloud being pushed by the wind.
