Victory Over Death!

When I think about Jesus, I feel joy, appreciation for His sacrifice, and overwhelming relief that my life is free from the clutches of sin and shame. Christ paid the ultimate price for me and everyone who believes in Him. He translated my earthly being into a spiritual and heaven-bound believer.

What an overwhelming victory!

Death could not hold Him. Propelled by love, Christ went down to hell and defeated the enemy of our souls. As we enter into the Easter season, I am drawing inspiration from the timeless wisdom of Scripture, which illuminates the significance of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection for humanity:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

Matthew 28:6

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the ultimate triumph over sin and death, signalling the promise of new life for all who believe in Him.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Peter 2:24

This Easter, let us reflect on these powerful truths and rejoice in the hope and redemption that Christ’s death and resurrection bring. May our hearts be filled with gratitude and our spirits renewed as we celebrate the victory of our risen Saviour.

Happy Easter! đź™ŹđźŚ·âś¨

”The unthankful heart… discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!” — Henry Ward Beecher

In light of Beecher’s quote,  I want to appreciate everyone who helped make my new book a huge success. It’s still an on-going process but the success of a great book rest not only on the written word but the advert preceding the release and after.

I want to specially appreciate Alastair Forbes – http://Kattermoran.com, he was and still a huge source of inspiration to me. Prior to the release of Cydonia: Rise of the fallen, he blogged about it incessantly, he’d also written a review on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. I also want to thank Celestine of ‘Readingpleasure’ who promised to write a post about it and buy a copy from Amazon. Also Ken of WriteOutLoud, you’re a darling. Pamela Beckford of http://pamela984.wordpress.com is still reading as we speak. Ste J is still waiting for the PDF copy, I’ll send it soon I swear! 🙂 To Uzoma, a poet and a great writer, thanks for reading. To several others who requested a copy, I’ll send it soon I promise! 🙂

To many others, I appreciate you, I am grateful for your friendship and kindness. You don’t even have to buy my book or review it. The mere fact that I could write something and people visit my website is enough to spur me on. As of now, my publisher is speaking to a few producers on Film rights on Cydonia… I know it’s still early days yet but I think the book is going to be massive.

I still need all the advert and PR I can get. The Press release would be out soon, the eBook version would be released within days so is the book trailer but in the main time, if you’re interested in reading a massive 644 pages of thriller to your heart’s content, here’s the link on Amazon US:

Well, like a friend would say ( I won’t mention his name… ;)… Enough said… 🙂

How’s everyone preparing for Christmas? On my end, I haven’t done any shopping. Moving home and releasing a new book seemed to have sent me off track but I’ll retrace my steps and do a few shopping now. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and if you’re not a Christian, have a happy holiday…

Just got my internet sorted out so I’ll start visiting more blogs now… Take care of yourselves guys and don’t get into trouble! 🙂

Much love, always! 🙂

Kingdoms!

”Take root in the ground

Live in harmony with the wind

Plant your seeds in the winter

And rejoice with the birds

In the coming spring!”

”A king without compassion does not deserve a kingdom. No matter the technology, a world cannot live without love.”  It’s annoying that the action of a single man can have ripple effect on millions of lives. I’ve watched in disbelief as the Syrian dictator is killing his people, and some of us could shrug our shoulders without giving a thought to what’s happening but the effects could be more than we can cope with. I hope things would not come to a head and the actions of a few would not have a devastating effect in the world.

On a lighter note, could you please hop over to Amazon, Kobo, Waterstones, Whsmith or any online retailer and give a writer a cheer and buy my novel, ‘The Feet Of Darkness,’ and ‘Tales Of Five Lies,’ I can’t remember the last time I promoted it on my website, here’s the link to Kobo,http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebook/the-feet-of-darkness and here’s the link to amazon,   http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Feet-Of-Darkness-ebook/dp/B00BJ6LJHC or better still, just click on the image on my sidebar and it would take you straight to the seller. Thanks guys! 🙂

I would be going away for a last-minute break with my family before they resume school on Monday, I have missed some cool posts, and I promise to read as much as I can today and tomorrow before our short get away.

Thanks for your kindness, I hope September would be a month of harmony and peace to you my friends, wherever you may be in the world!

Much love, always!

Circle Of Life

Talkin' About Life and Death

Talkin’ About Life and Death (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

A very good friend of mine lost her younger brother yesterday to the cold hands of death at the age of 35, which brought the poignant topic of death shrilly to my subconscious mind this evening.

Yes, we don’t like talking about IT but it’s all around us. I mean, we are born, we grow old with all our aspirations and we wither and die. Simple as!

But there is a catch. Death is not an end in itself, it’s a beginning, I believe firmly in life after death because I am a Christian but what about people who don’t? What is their hope?

My motto in life is ‘live life to the full and spread the love, don’t pile up hatred, you’ll be the one to stink and believe in yourself. Once there’s a will, there will be a WAY!’

My mind is still reeling from the news and my heart bleeds for my friend but the die is cast and the deed is done. The grim ripper’s done his worst, he can’t do more than that!

Borrowing the words of Mofasa in Lion King, ‘It’s just the circle of life’

Adieu Ambrose!
