Our loves entwined
Our fate predictable…
We are one!
From one golden tower
From the root of life itself,
We grew.
Bear my pain, end our grudge
Strengthen our faith
Swallow our shame
Rekindle our love.
We are one!
We belong together…

This picture speaks volume on its own. It reminded me of us – humans, we are from the same source, we need not be lonely. We belong together and the sooner we know that, the better for us. We can set ourselves apart, using all sorts of barriers – race, religious, ethnicity etc. But there is no denying that we are HUMANS and we do belong together!
Thanks for reading and do have a fantastic week!
Much love, always. 🙂
I shared on Facebook. That was perfect. This reminded of my girl we are currently away from each other as I’m training to get my CDL out of state
Thank you! I’m glad you like it and shared it! Wow, you’re a star!! I hope you succeed on your CDL!
Much love. 🙂
Thanks it’s hard being away from her and my daughter but not got much of a choice!
I know how hard that can be, nonetheless, she knows you love and miss her daily… Before you know it, time would fly with supersonic speed and you’ll soon be with her again! 🙂
This is true thank you for the encouraging words!
You’re welcome!
🙂

Beautiful, I’ve often said I’d like to live on my own island but in truth, I need others. They may be few but I need them!
Yes Freddie, we do need each other… we do! Like that wise saying, ‘nobody is an island.’
Thanks for stopping by!
🙂
We look better together than alone 🙂 🙂
We sure do Rosy! Hope you’re good!
🙂
Perfect, very well written… 🙂
Victories as a team is always greater than victories as selfish individuals – and victories with built-in compromises offer greater durability – because selfish victories creates back pressure – so this kind of victories are only temporary “pauses” before it starts all over again….
A beautifully crafted comment I must say, and it captured the deep message embedded in the poem! Thanks dear friend for pointing out the advantages of ‘team’ work. I appreciate your visit immensely!
🙂
We’re humans and we’re special. Being a good human is hard work and we’re not perfect but we’re belong together. Thanks for sharing 😀

Unfurtunatly we are in company of a lot of peoples but still alone! Is someone thinking at divinity for only one moment?
Thank you Razvan for your visit and kind comment! Divinity is reflected in people because we are made in God’s image!
🙂
yes, is true! is my pleasure!
Ah, seeing beauty is one thing, seeing the lesson behind it quite another! Thank you for sharing both that lovely sight, and your profound insight, my dear Seyi! : )
Oh Seyisandra, this is beautiful. Utterly beautiful.
Thank you dear friend! Enjoy the rest of your day, my love to Daniel. 🙂
I love this poem. The format of a 12 line, 1 stanza reinforces the subject of togetherness. Good job Seyi, your work is always interesting to read.
