”I Will Help You”

Life can throw some punches at you that you least expect and believe me friends, when it does, don’t be too afraid to ask for help.

”No man is an island,” my husband used to say and those words are true!
I had no intention of posting today because I’m neck-deep in several projects and while I was using my mental analytics to plan my next course of actions somebody suddenly walked up to me and said those magical words,

”I will help you!”

You see, this is someone I admire and love greatly and I know He can do more than what I’d asked Him to do but when He said those words, it was as if a very heavy load was lifted off my shoulders, I have someone to share my life with, my hopes, my dreams and yes, my writings!

So friends, if you’re at your wits’ end, don’t be afraid or too proud to ask for help, it might make a great difference to how this year turn out for you!

That’s all my friends!

Love always:)

My best friend is a young girl I met when she was 17, 2 infants single mom. She is now happily married coming up on 2 years and a new baby with her husband. She helps me a great deal and I help her. A lot of people do not like her, I guess prejudged her but a wonderful girl and did a remarkable job with her 2 boys. My son is 37 Down Syndrome and they get along very well. My daughter (47) appreciates all she does for me and they have met and like each other.

Oh! That’s so beautiful, such a classic example of what I was trying to pass across! Life is simple if we allow love to flow! Thanks for stopping by my site. Cheers-:)

  3. I was up to my ears in various things and decided to take a break and read. Thanks for the good words. Now if I could only find a helpful agent. 🙂

That’s very true, Sandra. We are sometimes too caught up with our pride we tend to look down on those who offer us help. Just because someone has not measured up to our stand makes us look down on them, hence refuse help. Like other good gifts, we shouldn’t place a condition for accepting it.

Such an important lesson to be learnt. Thanks for the post.

  5. Thank you for writing this. I was feeling overwhelmed with everything going on in my life. It can be hard to remember to ask for help or let someone help us when things become difficult.

    Good luck on your projects!

I enjoy helping people but I have always been kind of independant until I realized..”When you fail to let people help you, you are robbing them of a blessing.”
    Humor
When I hear the quote, “No man is an island.” It reminds me that it sounds like, “No mayonaise in Ireland.” What do they put on their sandwiches.

Wow, it does sounded like that! And you’re so right about robbing people of their blessings when you don’t allow them to help you. I’m also a very independent person but there are times when one needs a little helping hand! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
      Cheers-:)

It’s so important to not be afraid to reach out. Great post!

  10. When you’re in trouble and someone offers to help there is no greater relief and gratitude.
