There is a Place…

West Sands Beach, St Andrews, Scotland

I’ve been away for a while, taking a break to Scotland with my family and we had a marvellous time. The beautiful landscape of rolling hills, canopy trees, and luscious vegetation took my breath away. Scottish people are renowned for their welcoming and friendly nature. Strangers will see you in the street and smile and wave. You don’t get that reaction in ‘high octane’ London. I’ve spent most of my adult life in London, and I consider myself a Londoner first and British second. I love the city, but Scotland is now a huge contender – the fresh air, those stunning natural views, and I’m seriously considering moving up north.

Cupar Park, Scotland

There is a place called LadyBank in Fife, Scotland where we spent amazing days in a rented apartment. The only mistake we made was not booking longer. It’s important to rest and rewind before going back to the fray. And I hope anyone reading this will find the time to relax and rest. Below are some pictures I took.

Luscious mountain, Scotland
St Andrews, Scotland. I love stone houses!☺️
St Andrews Castle
Queensferry Crossing Bridge, Scotland

I took almost a hundred images and several videos, which I’ll probably upload later. So wherever you are in the world, be kind, be well and be good!

Much love, always!☺️

Falling Stars And The Year Of Dreams…

Tough

The shadows inched closer and I watched the wind walking with the legs of a deer.

What kind of hope lie in wait for the coming year?

I have no idea, said the old man, new year

are best for great ideas.

Tears of the rainbow has nothing to do with the wishes of an orphan.

I lost a dear friend old man, I said, walking beside the sea of dreams

We all lose people at one time or the other, said the old man

The most important thing is not to lose yourself.

The year has been okay, I mused, wrapping my robes tighter

Others don’t have it so good.

People have died, dreams extinguished!

Then do something about it, he said and left me

I watched him go and I saw falling stars hitting my little

house beside the lake.

Strange, I sighed

Life is strange indeed, said the wind, dancing with the lake.

I saw the falling stars by my window

I tried to stop them but I couldn’t

How can I help?

Dear friends, it’s been a great year, some dreams go unfulfilled, others need more work but one thing I realise is, it’s never too late. New Years are for fresh ideas, hold your loved ones tighter, tighten up your belt and fill your mind with positive thoughts. Work hard and you’ll see great results. Things don’t always go the way we want sometimes, but that is why the sun ALWAYS rise again.

Don’t give up on yourself!

Happy New Year (in advance) great friends and I love you all!!!
