I’ve been away for a while, taking a break to Scotland with my family and we had a marvellous time. The beautiful landscape of rolling hills, canopy trees, and luscious vegetation took my breath away. Scottish people are renowned for their welcoming and friendly nature. Strangers will see you in the street and smile and wave. You don’t get that reaction in ‘high octane’ London. I’ve spent most of my adult life in London, and I consider myself a Londoner first and British second. I love the city, but Scotland is now a huge contender – the fresh air, those stunning natural views, and I’m seriously considering moving up north.

There is a place called LadyBank in Fife, Scotland where we spent amazing days in a rented apartment. The only mistake we made was not booking longer. It’s important to rest and rewind before going back to the fray. And I hope anyone reading this will find the time to relax and rest. Below are some pictures I took.

I took almost a hundred images and several videos, which I’ll probably upload later. So wherever you are in the world, be kind, be well and be good!
Much love, always!☺️
Awesome pictures! I’m glad you had a lovely time. Next time you’re in Scotland, visit the Isle of Skye and Oban. I’m sure you’ll love it there too.
Thanks, Alex. I’ll keep that in mind. Hope you’re enjoying your summer break too. 🙂
Yes, I am. I’m spending my time reading before resuming work next week.
Beautiful! That castle looks cool over the water.
I hit the beach too yesterday. Water is so comforting.
Glad you enjoyed your trip. How long did it take to get from London to Scotland?
Thanks Maryanne. I found the sound of waves soothing for some reason☺️. We had a stopover at Manchester for a night and visited family at Glasgow before going to St Andrews. But overall, the journey would have been nine hours nonstop.
Sandra, long time indeed. Hope all is well.
Long time sis! It’s so nice to see you here. I hope you and the family are doing well! 🙂 🙂
A beautiful place.
I agree Dannie, it’s beautiful. 🙂
Great trip! I’d love to see Scotland, some day, Seyi. — YUR
Thanks Unclerave. I’m sure you’ll love Scotland
The photos and videos are beautiful. I am always at peace when I am near an ocean. I would love to visit Scotland someday. It is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing these!
I love the seaside, and I reckon when I retire, I’ll probably live near one, a bit on the higher ground though to guide again flooding etc. Thank you so much for your kind comment, Jeff. I hope you’ll have a fantastic weekend! 🙂
Thank you! You, as well.
